Marriage in canada

I am on one year work permit in Canada, which will end in feb 2020. I am an Indian citizen. I want to get married to an Indian guy before Feb 2020, who is presently living in India. If he will visit me as on visitor visa in Canada, in wolfvile, NS. I want to know that if I can marry him here in Canada. What are the requirements for getting married here.

Whether someone secures a visit visa another challenge of course plus how long they are authorised on arrival to visit. Not convinced that coming to get married to a work permit holder would be a convincing reason to get approval but that is just my view.
