----Marriage Certificate----

I got recently married(February 2020) in India and me and my spouse are working in Canada. We have applied a separate PR application for both of us as we do not have a marriage certificate due to COVID-19. We have put unaccompanying spouse in our respective application but now the system is asking to upload our marriage certificate. What should we do as we can't travel to India for getting the same?

You can contact wakf board to issue a marriage certificate in English. Usually the qadi who performed the nikah would have a nikahnama that can be used to apply for this document. Wakf board can be approached by your family members to get this document. The other option would be to approach a lawyer in India to get the marriage registered but that may be more complicated.
