Hi,

I'm apply for visitor visa for my parents and they don't have a Marriage Certificate and it would take long time to apply and get it done. is there any other way or any other document we can submit instead of marriage certificate?

well i had the same issue so i did the notary with lawyer its takes just an hour but my parents got visa last week i had no issues you can do the same as well

is there any specific format that we need to specify or lawyer should have the format and will work for the visa application?
 
i just did it on a 10 rupees bond paper mentioning so and so got married on that date and attach a photo of your parents on the bond paper and he will sign and put stamp thats it
 
my parents just took a photo and piece of id to him he did all this and paid 200 rupees
finished in an hour
 
I added passport copy of both my parents that mention their name, as they are married and added my mom's voters id card that mention my father's name as husband.
Added these documents under marrige ceritificate section and added a Letter of Explanation stating to consider these documents, as marriage certificate is not available. Visa is approved.
