My boyfriend is Indian, he lives in Toronto but not a permanent resident yet.
We are planning to get married next year, what do you guys suggest me, to get married in Toronto?
which documents do I need?

You need to be more specific. What exactly are you trying to achieve. Marrying in Toronto, or Italy, or India is inconsequential as your boyfriend is not a PR yet. So there is no advantage of marrying in Toronto.

You could get married in Toronto, you only need your passport to get married, then you could start your residency process, have any evidence of you know each other, economical issues, e-mails, pictures, travels since you met.

You can get married wherever is best for the both of you. It's entirely up to you.
