Hi. I am separated but not divorced. My wife and i has been living apart for amost 2 years now. I am applying for citizenship but dont know what to put on marital status. We didnt have any agreement or what not. What shall i do? Do i need to consult a lawyer for this?

No. It's not a critical part of the citizenship app, but for background checking. Choose whatever is closest.

If there is an option for separated, doesn't require a legal doc.
