Hi everybody!
I am a bit perplexed with my given situation. I am an Indian unmarried mother of two sons aged 6 and 5. The birth certificates and passports of my sons carry the name of their father whereas in my passport the name of spouse is not mentioned since we are not married. What marital status should I mention if I apply for express entry for self and my two kids? Further, my partner is very cooperative so I can get every documentary support from him. Please guide me about my marital status and what documents should I get from my partner in support of my kids and self.

Will your partner (and your two sons) be accompanying?

Since you are not married marital status should definitely be 'Unmarried'.

May be ask a legal opinion from Lawyer
Ofcourse Marital status will be Unmarried ...

If not married , are you going to mention him as common law partner in the application? ... if yes ,then you need PCC and Medicals from him ...

Please take advise once from Immi lawyer .. CIC needs exclusive proof for common law relationship ... Hope you have all the proof documents ...

Please check with Asivad Anac once ..

so are you going to declare him as "common partner" in the application ?
If yes , then you need PCC and medicals for him ..
If no , then you go with you and 2 kids in application ...

You are unmarried.
You will need letter of consent from him to migrate with your children as his name is on their birth certificates.
