My friend when starting his PR application was separated from his wife and gave his status as "Separated" in the application.
And after a couple of months, he received a request from CIC asking for a divorce certificate. He got divorced by then so he provided the certificate as well.
A couple of weeks after this, he got his application approved and sent his passport to the Delhi office for stamping.
He later received his stamped passport and along with it, his COPR. But the COPR still has his marital status as "Separated". Is this an issue as he had already informed CIC promptly and provided proof? Will he face any difficulty on landing?
