Hi,

I currently hold an approved study permit application (applied as Single). However, I have not yet traveled to Canada because of the pandemic. I am planning to travel in the coming months.

I wish to update the marital status to Common-Law. How do I do this? Will updating the marital status render the student permit invalid? Will I have to start the student permit application all over again?

Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the response. Did it get updated without any hassle? Have you already travelled now?
