Hello to all friends

A friend of mine is applying outland (he is a citizen - sponsor) but they are returning to Quebec.
In IMM 1344 it says at the bottom near the agreement signatures [For those residing in all provinces EXCEPT Quebec"
Normally doesn't his Sponsored spouse have to sign also? Is there an exemption for returning to Quebec?
It got me confused too and I like to help him to properly fill up his apps
My experience does not include Quebec?!

On a later note! Are there separate forms for Canadians sponsoring their spouses outland?

Re: MAJOR Question!

Bump!

Quebec is a difficult one. It is very different to the processing for the other provinces.

I actually believe there are separate forms for most of it. Tell your friend to click the links directing them to the Quebec forms and to follow the instructions. If it says to sign unless you are from Quebec, then dont sign. It normally tells you.

Also, check the Quebec applications thread :)

I don't know what you have to fill out to sponsor inland .. but for outland here's the link

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/3999Etoc.asp

in the Sponsor questionaire it asks a question about whether or not you live in canada, and when you plan on returning etc.

Also in the link I posted you will find a link to the Quebec government website for those who plan on living in quebec
