Do we hold a good chance of getting employed in the software industry in Canada as a mainframe programmer?

Can anyone suggest me on how Canadian market is for Mainframe developers

I've got 3.5years of experience in Mainframe technology, and am thinking to apply for express entry. After reading both success and failure stories, Am convinced that it is depended mostly on market conditions.

Please help me to get me out of dilemma and to make a smooth decision.
