when i sent it through fedex, i just used a paper binder clip to clip the whole bunch and put it into the fedex envelope.
Just try to sort it out according to the instruction guide.
As far as I remember, I have used the following sequence(not sure about complete list though). Just make sure you check the instruction guide to ensure that you don't miss any paperwork:
Photos
Cover letter
application pages (clipped together with paper clip)
landing document copy and pr card copy (clipped together with paper clip)
language proof copy (clipped together with paper clip)
biographical pages of passports copy(clipped together with paper clip)
2 pieces of id (clipped together with paper clip)
online residence calculator (clipped together with paper clip)
online payment receipt.
Also i had combined all the above mentioned pages and used paper binder clip.
Also in every set I have used the sticky label to show what exactly I have attached.
