Hello everyone,
We just realized we made a mistake on a couple forms. Some of them ask for your UCI number and when we were filling out the forms we must have copy and pasted the number incorrectly...on every... form.. I’ve been trying to research online about this but can’t find an answer. Is there anyway we can amend this or will our entire application be sent back?
**the UCI number we provided on the forms is 2 digits short. We must have not highlighted the Entire number when we copy and pasted it.. such an over sight and we feel so silly to have missed this. We are worried when they start checking our application they’re going to not understand why the UCI is wrong and therefore not Connect the application with my partners profile or something like this. We are so stressed out! If anyone could help... thank you so much

The paste function only accepts a certain number of characters and doesn't accommodate the hyphens. That's why it's always 2 digits short. Applications can be made without a UCI and although I haven't run into this particular error ('cuz I know about the hyphens) I don't think there is any smooth process for correcting this - you'll need an application number to inform IRCC via the Web Form - but neither do I think it will adversely affect your application.

Thank you so much for your reply!! I’m primarily worried that my application will just be sent back without getting an AOR because of this. I know applications can get processed without a UCI, but I’m worried that because we did fill one out and it’s incorrect that it will be considered a form filled out incorrectly and therefore returned?
I’m worried we won’t be generated an application number and we’ve filled out multiple web forms but since the application hasn’t been opened they can’t do anything

Immigration applications are all about hurry up and wait. I understand your anxiety, but this is something over which you have absolutely no control so you'll have to deal with whatever arises. You can either make each other crazy or find a distraction to take your minds off it.

You’re absolutely right. It’s just so easy to get caught up in the stress of it all.
And especially right now with all the covid related delays, everything seems so up in the air.
I do thank you though for your reply
