Hi guys,
I have my brother who has PGWP right now and by mistake I wrote NO in the question- do you have any family member who has legal status in Canada?

But in family information Form I mentioned my brother name and address along with his occupation. I didn't hide anything but I made mistake in study permit questionnaire.

In Statement of purpose I mentioned that my brother is in Canada.

Will My study permit will be rejected because of this mistake or there are any chances of correcting this mistake?

Thanks in advance

Most probably it won’t affect your decision since you have clearly mentioned it in the family information form as well as your SOP. Maybe just to let them know that you made a mistake while filling up the questionnaire, you can send a letter through the webform explaining this.

I am bit worried because I am truthful to my application but because of this mistake can visa officer misinterpret my application? Do they neglect this mistake?
I am anxious because my career is at stake. Are you sure that it will not affect the decision on my study permit?
Thanks

Cant say for sure but if you are so worried it, send them a letter explaining that you made a mistake while filling up the questionnaire through the webform. That is all you can do at the moment. Be positive and hope for the best.

Send a letter of explanation and also attached the updated form with the correct. Attach both the documents and send it across. You will be fine

Quoted the wrong person though you are right about what you said.
