lost work permit

Hello guys,

I have misplaced my work permit when i was shifting. i tried to find out but could not. I have my SIN but lost co op work permit. I called immigration office and after a long wait of 3 hours the agent only sent me a form which i need to fill out. But in that form i have been asked to provide a police report number. I went to the nearest police station, they told me that they dont take reports for lost documents. I called 911 and did not get any satisfactory reply. Can you guys please help me with this situation. I am so frustrated and disturbed. Can anyone please tell me whcih police station in Toronto takes the report for lost work permit? and also i have heard that immigration department take 3 to 4 months to get another copy printed. but i need it really ungerntly. Can you please also provide me with the information if there was a quicker way to get the duplicate copy printed?

your help will assist me solve this problem sooner.

Can you help me out How did u manage to get a new copy of coop work permit?
