Hi all.. i am panicking right now. i know it is stupid.. but i lost my passport while waiting for my post-graduate work permit. I am currently working. I do not know what to do. my study permit expires in August 31st. Is there anyway i can get pgwp without affecting my job. I really love this job.

Thank you so much for replying.. So should i report a lost passport to police and get a new one? would that affect my pgwp application because i used my old passport? or should i do that after i get my pgwp first.

Well if you have truly lost your passport you have to get a new one. When you get it you will probably have to inform the CIC. If it was me I would wait to get the PGWP first and then deal with things.
Then.. What would be next step? do you know how i can deal with these things? i know this was really stupid of me.
I probably should do that.. My immigrant agent told me that i don't need to worry about pgwp application because it is a separate paer. What i am worried is that i believe that i have to renew my sin, msp and eta (or TRV since i get a new passport). But the pgwp paper will state my old passport number. I really dont know how the pgwp system works. i am freaking out here. What should i do after i get a new passport? Could you please help me out?
It doesn't matter if the PGWP has your old passport number. You are freaking out for no reason.

Hi! Same situation here! My pasaport was stolen while applying to the PGWP. I also have a job. Do i have to go back to peru? If I so that i cant come to canada because my TRv Visa was attached to the pasaport book.
