Lost My Implied Status

Hi there,

I've just got an email from CIC saying that my open work permit got refused. That's being said, I've lost my implied status. Wanna know, how long I can legally stay in Canada after that.

If you are working, you'll need to stop immediately. If you do not plan to restore your status, you should make plans to leave as soon as you can.

Since you are now out of status in Canada - any further time you spend in Canada will not be legal. You should leave within a few weeks to ensure this doesn't impact future entries.
