Lost Indian passport with Canada Visa .

Hi , I have lost my Indian passport with Canada work visa . I got my passport re issued through the Consulate in Vancouver. Would someone guide me how to get the visa stamped again. Its valid till July 2021 . Also my PR application is also under process , will it affect my PR application in anyway.

You will have to apply for a new visa. The process is the same as when you first applied, though you should include a letter explaining why you're applying again when you still have a valid visa.

Your PR application will need to be updated with the new passport number, but that's about it.

If you're already in Canada and your PR process is underway, you can skip the Canadian visa. Just don't travel till you get your PR card.

Thank you . I have no plans to travel , so think it's better to wait for the PR .
