Hi everyone,

I received my letter to write the citizenship test next month but I cant seem to find the original confirmation of permanent residence (IMM 5292). I have read around the forums and it seems some offices don't care if you have it or not and some show it during the oath ceremony but not during the test. So my question is I have a colour photocopy of the my IMM 5292 and also I have my dads ORIGINAL confirmation of PR which shows my name under accompanying family members. I also have all the other documents required including my PR card. So I will be requesting Application for a Verification of Status (VOS) tomorrow and I will take that receipt with me when I go write the test. But i don't think I will receive the verified confirmation of PR any time soon.

What are my options? Should I be ok as it is or is their any other steps I should take before writing the test?

any input will be useful :D thanks
