Lost AOR letter - need to change communication address

Hi Guys,

Some how i am not able to find my AOR letter...
but luckily I have made a note of FIle number !!

Now i need to change my communcation address how can i do it ?

also

I am not able to check my online status ?
attempts fails saying:

information is wrong..
it may not have processed yet !


details:

applied under FSW on Jan 10 2009
got AOR on May 1st 2009
lost AOR ...but have file no..with me...
office Buffalo !

How could you have lost such an important document? Are you sure you have the correct file number? Have you submitted full documents to Buffalo? I have no idea how to help you.

What do you mean by lost AOR, but still have AOR number? Where did you get the AOR number from Sydney or Local office?

Explain clearly...
If you lost the document .. and have not sent full document to local visa office and your 120 days are nearing end.. Send the full documents with a covering letter clearly mentioning the reason for the loss and CLEARLY STATE YOUR FILE NUMBER FROM SYDNEY!!!

The same is good for change of address.. In case you dont have the document, but have the file number.. COVERING LETTER!!!

Elaborate clearly (please calm down first!!!) dont confuse yourself and others..Only then you will get correct feedback

I have the AOR number, i misplaced the letter....
I got the AOR from Buffalo,NY.
I have sent all the document..and they sent me the AOR with file number.
