Loss of Job after SINP Approval and Federal Application

Good Morning,

Due to some personal obligations, i had to leave my current job and am currently unemployed. I already applied for Federal (after getting my SINP). I am yet to get a file number from CIC. How will this affect my application? Any advice will be highly appreciated.

It will not affect your application as you were assessed based on work experience you already have and not future work. All the best.

Thank You Sir. Now do i need to look for a job in the same field ( Noc 1232 - Loan Officer) Or am i allowed to work with any offer that comes my way? I understand that these are lame questions but i am kind of tensed with the whole situation. Hope you understand. :-[

Our immigration are based on number of years in the past 10 years, if you start doing some other profession it will not affect your application. they need atleast 1 year in the past 10 years. I also lost my job two years prior to my visa.

Also another question i had was regarding my Work permit. I currently have a closed work permit. Is it possible to find a job and then apply again to CIC for a new work permit? Or should i go ahead and apply for an open work permit right away?
