LANDED..........

I have a common-law partner who is a Canadian citizen who has been living with me (outside Canada) for 4 years now. His Canadian passport is about to expire this September. He consulted the local Canadian Embassy/Consul on how to extend his passport. He was advise to file an application for "limited validity passport" by filling-up and submitting the form# PPTC 040- Adult Passport Application.

The problem is he loss his "citizenship card" as one the supporting document for the passport application/renewal. Since he loss the citizenship card, he was requested also to file the CIT0001E form (Application for a Citizenship Certificate) to replace his loss citizenship card.

Now, he has all the needed supporting documents except the "pink transmission copies". We would like to know what is this pink copies? He only has the certificate of landing paper and passport as supporting documents.

Appreciate your help! Thanks!

i guess the 'pink transmission copies' was the old type of landing paper.

I have the exact same problem only I am living in Canada! Did you figure out what it is? And did you need to fill out any references for your identity at all if you processed with the application? If you could help me out that would be great! Thanks!
