Losing points in April. Fsw draws. Advice plz!

Hello!
I am currently studying in Canada and I'm going to complete my 1 yr study in August this year. By this time i will have 486 points but my ielts will expire in April 2021.

Since there are no fsw draws since March. What would you guys advise me to do:

- extend my study to have longer pgwp as we all know 1 yr pgwp wont be helpful.

- complete my studies in August and hope for a fsw draw before April .

P.s. The last thing i would do is to retake the IELTS

Please advice guys.

If your IELTS is going to expire April 2020 then the results have already expired and you have no choice but to retake the test. Do you mean 2021?

I would personally extend your studies to qualify for a 3 year PGWP. This gives you the best opportunity to qualify for PR regardless of what happens with the FSW draws.

I know this might be a safer option, but that wasn't what i was waiting for tbh. cuz it would take me at least 6 more months of studying plus paying for more tuition fees. I was hoping anybody could give some hope regarding the fsw draws

Comments on hopes regarding the FSW draws are useless. No one here knows when they will restart. It could be next week - or it could be months from now. If you want to read about people hoping - there are plenty of discussions about that in the Express Entry section of the forum.
