Looking to relocate Calgary from United kingdom in about 1 year time

Assalamualikum Brother and Sister and Hi and hello to everyone,

I am British Bangladeshi and Got Masters in Telecommunications management from UK. My wife she is working as a Registered Nurse working in renowned Hospital. Got a son. we are couple.

For my wife she can get a job in Canada very easily as Nursing job is very demanding all over the world.
The problem is I am qulaified and Got bachelor and Masters degree but in uk no one Hire a graduarte until they have any 2-3 years experience in The IT field. Though some Battle, gained First line support engineering experience over a year and has 1 year and half IT Technician experience.

I have change my idea and plan to dedicate myself in ORacle and have certified Oracle sql, OBIEE 11g and informatica to become Data Analyst. I have not practicle experience.

Just need an advice..is Canada is better place for the fresh candidate to get in the field with masters degree and I really need advice to find a soluation.

Any particular reason Calgary as opposed to a bigger city with potentially more IT opportunities. As for your wife being a nurse and employable has she looked at the requirements/ process for registration?

Have you estimated your CRS score to see whether you or your wife as primary applicant can get a score that could be selected under express entry ?

Employers in Canada often play the Canadian experience card so if not that probably just as biased as anywhere when looking for candidates with experience versus those without. Search through some employment sites such as indeed.ca to see what IT jobs are in demand,
