Looking for Senior Java Developer - 2 year contract

• ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Providing estimates for development efforts based user stories
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and optimization
  SKILLS:
  • Experience within Agile development environment
    
    
  • Familiarity with Spring framework with 4 years of experience - Spring Boot knowledge an asset
    
    
  • Familiarity with Angular / PrimeNG and Asset
    
    
  • Experience with both external and embedded databases - Hibernate knowledge will be an advantage
    
    
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
    
    
  • Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
  • Skill for writing reusable Java libraries
  • Familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful
  • Experience with Restful Web Services & JSON
  • Basic understanding of the class loading mechanism in Java
  • Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Basic understanding of JVM, its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
  • Implementing automated testing platforms and unit test frameworks (Junit, Mockito, PowerMock)
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, SVN etc.
  • Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle
  • Familiarity with continuous integration tools, such as Jenkins, Teamcity.
