It's next to impossible to get a job in Canada as a foreign worker. I would recommend you focus on applying for PR instead.

Pls can anyone advise me on this: i want to live and work in Canada. of course i know our Nigerian degrees can't fetch professional jobs over there. i have my decision to work as a semi-skilled or unskilled labor, all i want is to work. i have checked the rolled out programmes for immigrants and found out that most require registering as a skilled worker. pls have i missed any that gives PR without the usual requirements for a skilled immigrant???
also i tried seeing if i could get a job before moving but that seems a herculean task because of the LMIA and work permits involved. takes long time and all that.
