Hi.

Sorry to dive in here and start asking questions but I am stuck with nowhere else to turn.

So I am trying to extend my tourist visa from within Canada. It took longer than usual this time and thus I had to pay $100 for restoration of status. They gave me the deadline of Monday for this. As the payment form on the site doesn't seem to give a $100 option (it says Restoration of status is $200) I followed the advice on the site and put a letter asking where I should pay into the part of the form where the receipt should go.

Its been 3 days and I have heard nothing and Monday is coming up fast. Is there a way to pay (and if so where) and submit the receipt even when the application is still locked for processing?

I am super worried that by asking for help to make sure I did the correct thing I am going to be screwed over as they wont reply before the deadline they set.

Thanks.

Restoration of status is $200 (not $100).

I would submit your extension request again, this time with the receipt info. I'm not sure there's a way to add the payment information to your first application. I think it's going to be refused since it lacks the payment info.

Well that sucks....It is confusing me as I thought it was $200 as well, but in the letter they put on my account (as the old visa lapsed during them looking at my extension request) said I had to pay $100. Despite the helpline and everything else giving the larger number.
