Looking for general help for common-law sponsoring

Hey.

I(Estonian) met my Canadian girlfriend while travelling Australia. Currently we've been together for 14 months. Her Australian visa runs out in 6weeks and we're thinking of sponsoring me cause I couldn't get working holiday for Canada.

What are our options?
Can i just go on there on a visitor visa and then apply for common law sponsorship? Have to wait for around 3 months to get working permit?

Can someone please help and give guidance, the process seems complicated and after getting refusal for wrong police background check for working holiday visa I am now overly worried about everything. If there is someone who is willing to help me personally I'm glad to read your personal message in my inbox!
