I am sending common law outland application to HK. Here is a list of document I prepared

GF's birth certificate, HuKou, Passport, Study Permit, and SIN
Our lease agreement for more than one year, driver licenses, vehicle ownerships.
Photo of outings for three years
Air tickets for me to travel back to see her
Emails, call records
Financial supports (we are both students, but I am doing co-ops and I have some document for co-op salary)
Joint bank account..
Medical exam
Criminal check
5 Photo
My Chinese passport, certificate of Canadian citizenship (they took my PR card), landing paper, my birth certificate

Sure there is. There's about a dozen CIC forms that I don't see included on your list, perhaps most importantly one of which is a "Document Checklist". Not only do you include it, but also use it to personally check that you have included everything that is necessary.
