Long time after Interview

My parents ( over 65) gave their citizenship interview mid September. They had only 2 travels in their 4 year period and everything was documented.

Their process update still states "In Process". Is this normal ?

They need to travel overseas at the end of this year. Is there something that can be done ? A case that can be lodged or something ?

They can travel using PR cards, obviously. There is no capability to force the processing to be marked as Urgent at this point in the application, as far as I am aware. If you have not ordered GCMS notes, now might be a good time... The interview is not always the last step in the process.
