Long Study Gap

Hello,

I am from Pakistan and I did my year 12 in 2006. My question is what are my chances to get study permit after this 9 year gap... Lets consider I have all the other documents completed as required by cic.

Depends on y ths study gap came in the first place and ur reason for continuing education after such a long time..

the chances are negligible. I would advice to try for new Zealand with a experience certificate if any or you can get from a know person.

Well, isn't gap concerned with uni admission? Like embassy just needs letter of offer and other requirements like bank statement etc. I was told embassy is not concerned with gap if explained properly.

one of my friend was rejected visa for jan 2016 and the reason was the GAP even though he showed that he worked as a manager in a hotel.

U answered ur own question..gap doesnt matter to VO IF EXPLAINED CORRECTLY
gap does matter to embassy..even more so thn uni..it has to do wd security reasons..they track ur presence through ur educational registration or employment record..if u hv neither to show thn they hv no way of confirming ur whereabouts etc

Gap doesn't matter. But poor or shabby profile do matter. If you think you can explain your profile to VO, then go ahead.
