I have currently been dating my girlfriend that lives in US for 4 years, she is 24 and I'm 26. We talked about moving her permanently down to Canada, and we decided we are going to get married. How does this immigration process work? What will I be applying, she plans on getting married in the court down here the moment she comes and flys here. I've read things that she'll need to spend a year here, or do I have the spend the year in USA with her to prove something? I'm quite confused with the visa/immigration process.
