Does anyone know what a pilot project is? A few of the applicants at the London Visa office got this as part of their notes. Any insight will be great appreciated? Does it slow down the sponsorship process or accelerate it?

It has been noticed that quite a few Sept 2016 onwards applicants whose files are with LVO have been chosen for this project. I assume you found it out from ur notes.
It has been months and even im unable to find anything about it since my file is also a part of this. Someone called CIC and inquired about it and they said its a project whereby CIC tries to improve processing of the applications. Someone even stated in one of the threads that it takes 7 months to complete such files (authenticity of which cannot be proven). :/
Can u tell us what else do ur notes say if you have ordered them? Is the status PUT AWAY?

I received my notes in December 2016. Where in location they mention "Put Away".
What does it mean? At that time they never open my file until in January my lawyer link my account. Where they mention Eligibility in Process .
Now i will apply again after we send our update. Kindly explain me what does it mean by Put Away?

They mention Put Away in the paper file section. It means that no work has been done on ur file and it is waiting for review by the visa officer.
London pilot project is different from Put away. Put away happens in all files. London pilot project is so far applicable for sept 2016 onwards applicants.
