We have completed our medical on 10 Dec 09 in Dubai.

When I can expect the passport request letter? and stampping visa?

not long now, if security checks are quicker or no more formalities than 4-6 weeks, CIC sometimes does background checks after medicals and that can take a while, fingers crossed.

Rami Can you post your timelines ?? and were you a normal FSW or CSQ Holder ??

Hi Ramy ,

I'm mohamed from Egypt, I 've heard that the security check for Arabs takes 4-6 Months ,not sure though it took this period for most of my friends ,also it's a bit slow now (Dec. is a slow month in issuing the visa or medical) , I've applied on May 2007 from Dubai and sent my update on August 2009 .....Still waiting for the medical

How much time required to request my passport, I completed medical this month 9th.

London office - I live in Dubai

I did medical in 8th december (Abu Dhabi), results sent to london by clinic (via courier)... waiting for canadian immigration office london response.

as far as i know, they don't update status until they receive your passport.
