Is it necessary to print the LoE and sign - scan - upload as PDF in the ITA documents?
or Can I simply write one and convert it into PDF and upload right away?

Doesn't hurt to do the first way, as I did so.

It's just a matter of preference - for my OINP application, I typed my LOE in Word and converted it to pdf.

For my ITA application, I plan to do the same.

Good luck.

Doesn't matter. I chose to print and sign, but only cause I think my wife's signature is really nice :)

What's the structure of your LOE? I am expecting to have multiple supporting documents (scans) in the letter. Do you write an explanation for a point and follow it up with a proof and then move on to the next point? Or all the points stated first then proofs followed in the respective order? How many pages is max?

There are no fixed rules. Do what makes sense for your paperwork - I had multiple LOEs attached before various documents.

There's no fixed max limit (besides the 4MB file size)
