LOE regarding late completion of degree

Hello Everyone !

I have completed my master degree (M.Tech) in six years which i was supposed to complete in two years as per rule. But PTU allows you four extra years to complete M.Tech thesis. So my degree got extended to six years. I want a help in writing my LOE (letter of explaination) regarding the same. Also, i want to know about the documents (proofs) that I would need to attach as a reference for this problem.
Your sincere reply would be appreciated.

A degree is a degree is a degree. As long as you can get WES to recognize it as equivalent to a Canadian master’s degree, I don’t see how taking 6 years to finish matters

You don't need to explain anything about why you took so long to complete. A completed degree is a degree awarded. As long WES or any other agency recognises it, it's fine.
