LOE for quit job

Dear all,

I got my ITA yesterday. I worked full time for 4 years and then I voluntarily quit my job. I'm currently unemployed, and I would need your help in explaining the reason to the officer.

I worked at CTS from 2014 to Feb 2018. I wanted to take a temporary break from my IT career and pick up a new skill, trading equities. I decided to invest one year of my time in exploring and learning this arena. Can I write this reason in LOE? I have applied under NOC 2172, so would including my effort at different domain as the reason affect my application adversely?
