Location to take IELTS

Hello,

I currently reside in Vancouver, but I will travel back to Hong Kong soon. I am considering to write the IELTS exam in HK since it is a lot cheaper in HK. Does it matter where I write the exam? Is the exam taken in HK recognized for applying to CEC?

You can take it in Hong Kong! You need to take it at one of these 3 locations listed on IELTS' website. You can find the testing dates on there as well. Good Luck.
