Local office transfer and only "in progress" line on E-case?

For those of you who got the date of local office transfer by calling CIC,
Do you have only "IN PROCESS"?

Yes, but when it disappeared CIC agent said my file was still in Sydney going through background checks.

Other than calling CIC to ask for the transfer date it seems the only other conclusive evidence of transfer is receiving correspondence from the local office be it a pre-test RQ, request for FP, test notification etc. Ecas no longer has a 'transferred' line.
