I am from India and I have managed to get a job in Canada as a Software Developer/Programmer. The employer does not know what is an LMO as he never applied for it for any employer earlier. I wanted to know:
1. As per the exempt category list, is a software developer exempted from applying for a LMO?
2. What does it mean by category "Workers covered under international agreements" ->> "Professional". Do I fall under this category? If I fall under this category am I exempted from applying LMO?
3. If I have the offer from the Employer and I don't need a LMO do I have to apply for work permit ?
Please help. I am stuck here
