Hi,

I was on PGWP and today my Lmo has been rejected. Got my permit on 24 april 2013 and expires on 24 april 2014. i've been officially working from May 2 2013 as Computer programmer(noc:2173) with a salary of 50K but VO said average wages for my job are 78K. My employer has agreed to increase my wage and we provided sufficient documentation .The application still got Rejected. My questions are

1. Can i reapply for LMO?
2. Inorder to be eligible i need to work atleast 1 year.....but in my case i'll miss it by 1 week. can i still apply for PR? :(

Thanks

Hi,

Your application for LMO can be re processed again and re-submitted by your employer. You have to know that if you haven't got a Work Permit before April 2014, you have to stop working. As far as I know PGWP cannot benefit for an Implied status. So, you have to apply a Visitors Visa before your visa expires (30 days prior to expiry date)

I cannot answer about your eligibility for PR but look at some other streams in the different provinces. I hope you can find solution to your immigration issue.

1. Yes - your employer can reapply.
2. You need a minimum of one full year. If you apply without meeting the requirements then you can expect to be refused.

I would recommend that you post any further questions to the Canadian Experience Class section of this forum.
