I have a contract with an Employer and they already have an LMO, I'm already in Canada.

My question is, do I need to go across the border to access my workers visa, or is there a way I can get it here in Alberta?

My question is, do I need to go across the border to access my workers visa, or is there a way I can get it here in Alberta?

1. You have to leave Canada by "flagpoling" You go to the border to the US side and you get an administrative refusal (no effect on future entries) and then return to the Canadian side to activate your work permit.
