Hello everyone!

I'm a Master's student from Germany and will complete my final Master Thesis at the Queen's University. I have a job offer for about 14 months.
I just saw the point: Labour market opiniopn (LMO) No. in the application form - after a bit of looking around in the WWW, I'm not quite sure, whether I need it or not. The supporting help document for my visa application says: "add LMO and proof of LMO-qualification (diploma, etc) if needed". Well, do I need it, ot not? :) I have no information about this from my Canadian supervisor, yet.

My first mail sent to the Canadian embassy in Germany took about 3 weeks to reply, why I thought you can help me out here pretty soon. :)

Thanks,
Daniel

Re: LMO for Master Thesis? [urgent]

Since nobody answered so far, some update:

My supervisor told me to leave the LMO field blank. However, yesterday I received a mail from the embassy with a request for the LMO. I need to answer within 2 days, but am not sure, whether I'll get a reply from my supervisor on time.

Additionally they asked for my funding. Everything will be financed by my parents and an additional study loan. I haven't signed up for the loan, yet, but it is not bound to any requirements, meaning I will definitely receive money. Did I miss an extra field??? Do I have to send them some kind of assurance of financial support?

Some help on those two topics would be great, since it is very urgent.

Thanks!
Daniel
