Hello,

I have an offer from one of the Canadian company while I am currently residing in India. I am 11-yrs Experienced IT Professional. The Canadian company is processing the work visa and have applied for LMO under Alberta in the Month of Oct'13. It has been almost 10 weeks now, I haven't heard on the results.

Please suggest what is the current processing time for LMO under Alberta, if anyone have applied for it recently ?

10 weeks only :)

i've been waiting for 15 weeks now others for 17 and mine is in IT too keep the hope
 
Week 18 for me, still waiting. IT Vancouver BC. Be prepared to wait a lil longer.
 
Request to share the timelines details for LMO Application by anyone who has recently got Positive LMO under IT skilled professional title ??

Since the LMO is lodged by the employer, is the individual allowed to request a status from services canada?
So far my employer always told me that they are in contact with services canada and that I only get updates through the employer and not services canada directly.
Can I just call services Canada and ask for a status update?
 
Just got an update on my LMO approved by 14-Jan 2014 under Alberta IT Skilled professional !! LMO Application was submitted around 22-Oct-2013. I have offer letter from Canadian Employer, PCC and Medical done.

Please suggest what would be next step under work permit application submitted to new Delhi ?
what is the processing time for getting work permit while application submitted to New Delhi ??

That was fast (in a way)! Congrats. What is your NOC code exactly, do you know it?

Employee can not ask Service Canada, but if you have any representative, he/she can ask on your behalf, or Employer can ask.

I learnt that you both were waiting from last July 2013 so just wanted to know whether you got LMO ???

Sorry, NGSJ.I just saw your question to me.
My LMO was applied early July, 2013 in ON and got approved by end of Jan 2014. It took around 29 weeks.
