Is it mandatory to be full time Student in time starts from approval for lmia till getting a new work permit

If you are asking if you can just stop studying while waiting for a work permit, no. Either continue your studies or apply to change your status to visitor.

if a student has a chance for a lmia, then your suggesting that study needs to be changed to tourist visa (by cancelling cllg) and then apply for closed wp?
Do you have a LMIA from an employer? You can still study while waiting as your closed work permit can still be refused.
sorry didnot get the last part. A caniddate can still be studying and waiting for closed work permit? Is it like a sure shot thing that it will get refused.
Are you a student now with an approved LMIA? You can apply for the closed work permit but it is not guaranteed as it depends on the NOC and province. More and more are being refused because of high unemployment rates. You can study if you have a study permit while you wait for response.
I was asking because some students who have more than 4-5 years of work exp can possible get employed, unlike other students who are 10/12th pass. That's why i asked, if it is feasible or not. What I got to know that a student needs to convert it to a trv, that is to cancel schooling, and then only apply for closed WP? I wanted to clear that.
