Hi,
I was working at a position for 17$ per hour and then I applied and got an open LMIA for $31 per hour in NOC A. I am currently being paid the new higher wage, my employer is ok with that.
So basically half of my employment period on the same job was $17 and the newer one after LMIA in june 2016 is $31 till today.

Is this a problem, or am I good to go on my application? I have a 2 year diploma from a college here as my only post secondary education and have max score on IELTS for the ranking system.

It's no problem, as long as your reference letter mentions the pay rise.

So going from $17 to $35 in the same position doesn't make a difference to the CIC? It had to be done by my employer to secure my LMIA.

well yes your employer can mention that raise in Reference letter also there will be pay stubs(if you have them ) to back up your case .
