LMIA for PR to Work permit

If employer provide LMIA support PR, as s student (don’t have PGWP) can I apply for work permit or any possibility for applying PR

You can apply for a closed work permit. You will show that you are the only person who can do the job with reference letters, education and maybe IELTS.

If you are eligible for PR, then you can apply. You cannot work until invited, get confirmation of AOR and then apply for work permit.

Thank you for the advice. If there any different categories in LMIA. When I got the LMIA they said I can’t apply for work permit with this. Is it true

You have to have a closed work permit to work full time for the employer.
