LMIA exempt Work permit application from Spain but Biometrics from Pakistan

Dear all, I have acquired an Internship in Canada with Mitacs scholarship, I applied from Spain (I live in Europe for my Masters), But I had to go back to Pakistan (passport country) urgently and I gave my biometrics from Pakistan on 17th February.
Now the problem is that I am confused if my application will be considered from Spain (Visa processing time 9 weeks) or from Pakistan (visa processing time 41 weeks)?

I called the vfs officer twice and he said that it will be considered from Spain,
If someone knows something about it I will be thankfull to know.

Normally it's based on the visa office. So whichever visa office is processing your application is the timelines you should expect. However if you left Spain very soon after applying then it's possible they may process your application through the VO responsible for Pakistan. It's a bit of a hard call. Note that if your application is processed through the VO responsible for Spain, processing can take longer than the posted timeline if you aren't a permanent resident / citizen of that country.
