Hi,
I am pretty new to the forum and need help to understand few things before I apply for My PR -
I am currently working in Canada on a closed LMIA exempt work permit (GATS transfer). I am scoring about 47X' without job offer points but would like to include job offer in my PR application. I do have access to the LMIA exempt no. from my Work permit but I don't have access to my job offer or other details like start date etc but i know end date is two years from start date. My questions is - What kind of information I need to take from my employer before I submit my application- like do I need the copy of job offer etc?
I'd appreciate if anyone can help me out with this.

How long have you been working on the LMIA exempt work permit for your employer in Canada? Has it been at least one year?

No, I have been working with the employer for more than a year in the US but not in Canada. I just moved to Canada. I believe the one year working requirement with the employer does not specifically mentions that it has to be in Canada. -

The one year is actually specific to Canada (not just the employer) however the wording isn't the clearest. You must complete a year on the work permit (i.e. working for the employer in Canada) before you'll qualify for the 50 job offer points. If you want the points sooner, your employer would need to obtain an approved LMIA.
