LMIA exempt closed work permit - valid job offer?

I have recently completed 1 year working on closed work permit (ICT visa) which is LMIA exempt. Current WP is valid till Jan 2023. Renewal is in process with IRCC for another 24 months and I have the offer letter from my employer.

Is this a valid job offer for claiming 50 points? I have heard different things from different people. Has anybody, in my situation, claimed 50 points for job offer and gotten approval after ITA?
