Hi, my LMIA was denied twice, first time we were doing it for a Warehouse supervisor (skilled) and it was denied because we had too many applicants for the job (over 150 according to Jobbank).
Goal was to go thru EE.

Second time, goal was to get PR thru AINP with LMIA for a Shipper/Reciever - denied as well for the same reason.

Does anyone have any suggestion what would be a good skilled NOC that won’t attract so many people here in Alberta in construction business?

Any suggestion/explanation is welcomed. Thank you

Alberta's unemployment rates still aren't great and I believe construction jobs are still being lost. I think it may be quite difficult to get an LMIA approved in that industry and region.

I would explore how you can qualify for PR without a job offer. Have you maxed out your language test scores?

Thanks for your reply. My scores are IELTS 7 8 6 7 (Overall: 7) and I have 290 CRS. I don't think that would improve drastically my CRS or improve enough to get in for EE.

Looking for a good NOC in Alberta
